Clean Skin There are five types of skin which are Normal skin, Dry skin, Oily skin, Combination skin, and Sensitive skin. The following is a brief description of each and every skin .

Normal Skin:

Normal skin is in general smooth, soft form and has an even texture. The surface is very smooth. It is clean with no greasy patches or flaky regions. It is a symbol of good health, good blood circulation and probably free from any infection. Women may get pimples during menstruation due to increased hormonal activity. However it is not a problem for others. This kind of skin yet requires care. When neglected it will mark ageing and winkles all over.

Caring Your Athlete’s Foot

Athlete’s foot is a very common infection which is caused by Tinea Fungus. This disease is also called as Tineapedia. It is a common fungal infection that affects most of us. We may get such fungal infection from any community centers, bathrooms or fitness centers. It generally affects the spaces between the toes, yet can spread to toenails, soles and sides of the feet. They can respond the drugs and treatment is easier. It can also be called as ringworm of the foot and dermatoghytosis.

Prevention and care are required as follow:

Washing feet everyday is a must. Spaces of toes should be dried up and the socks should be clean with no moisture. Avoid walking in barefoot in common areas and take care of your things while using locker rooms. Also wear flip-flop in community showers. Antifungal creams purchased can help. Tropical lotions as Tolnaftate lotion can be of some use. There are a few other related infections which are the ringworm of the body (tinea corporis); which looks real, scaly rings or circles of rash on the layer of your skin. Jock itch or tinea cruris is another one. This is an infection on the genitals, inner thighs and buttocks. Ringworm of the scalp or tinea capitis affects children mostly. It looks with red, itchy patches on the scalp leaving intermittent patches everywhere and looks ugly.

There are some symptoms associated with the athlete’s foot; a few of them confirm that you may possess this disorder; Itching, burning and stinging between the toes and the same sensation found on the soles of the feet. Itching blisters and the skin with cracking and peeling sensation in between toes will be a reaction. There would be excessive dryness of the skin on the bottoms or sides of the feet and the nails would be thick, ragged, discolored or would tend to leave the flush under.

Causes:

A group of fungi called dermatophytes causes this disease. These organisms through extending will infect the outer layer of the skin; the basal layer produces more skin cells and when they push through the surface the skin becomes thick. The more the fungal is produced the more the skin will get scales. The fungus is carried on through the fragments of skin and other pesticides which rugs, shoes, clothes, mats and other things which we cannot leave out in our daily life,. Plastic shoes will provide more cushion for this. Sometimes it may be from pets and the most common situation we get from community/group centers.

Consultation:

Your doctor may advise you medication on skin, oral or otherwise and the dosage pattern, which is important because when you take antifungal drugs it may cause recursion. Broad spectrum anti-bacterial drugs would be prescribed to you by the physician. He may assess conditions of Skin and immune system and may advise suitable medication.

Acne is the term that comes out of the Greek term ‘akun’ which means something related to skin eruption. It takes place having puberty to youngsters and is caused by the changes in the pilosebacecus parts. These are the stain arrangements which consist of a hair folick and its related sebaceous gland. It is an ailment of the oil glands that lies around the blocked poses and occurrence of lesions. These are also referred as pimples or spots. Our modern day diet, to some extend is cooked and probably may not cause harm to body.

Acne Treatment: There are a few factors that are to be avoided in view of acne control; emotions, humidity, micron or silk garments, high temperatures and food like chocolates fried and food with fat, butter, nuts etc.,

It may be related to an increase of hormone production. Sunlight garment causes the skin getting peeled and the pores as it may open. It is not of much help. Never squeeze the pimples, which would lead to more infection, Benzyl peroxide helps controlling it. It is available with 5% or 10% concentration and in gel or ointment form. To start with a 5% will be enough.

Lotion or gel can be initiated for treatment. If the irritation doesn’t subside, the dosage may be increased up to 5% or 10%. If you get more itching and scaling all over consult a dermatologist. Herbs like cleaners. Echinacea, Burdock and Butternut can be mixed with a low percentile of tincture and applied on it for thrice a day. Orange peal can be mixed with water and pulverized to be pastry and applied on acne and sulfur may help more. Avoid food with more fat, oil, pickles, strong tea as well as coffee. There are also home remedies which are the paste of cinnamon powder, lemon juice and garlic juice applied on acne. Lime and ground nut oil can be applied on it; a combination of lime juice and rose water can do well. A nature in raw milk mixture is also very fine.

Obesity, Diabetes and heart diseases are becoming common amongst people around the world in the past 20 years .
British Scientists have recently Identified a fat gene that makes people prone to obesity , diabetes and heart attack .
A Genetic Variant that raises the risk of obesity, diabetes and heart diseases is more common in Indians than Britons, found in an international study of 30,000 people in Britain .
Researchers found culprit variants in DNA near a gene already figured in the molecular ballet that causes obesity .
The Gene called MC4R orchestrates appetite and energy expenditure .
Researchers from Oxford University and The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in Cambridge link another gene sequence close to MC4R with obesity .
Now Question arises if the tendency of obesity , diabetes and heart diseases can be controlled?
The answer is Yes , it can be controlled taking some precautionery measures that is by changing our lifestyle , by eating healthy and excercising more . It is a well established fact that lifestyle and behavior alters gene expressions .
Most probably , The next question thats in your mind is How should the life style be changed to alter the gene effect which causes obesity, diabete and heart diseases?
To control the gene effect and improve our health , one should follow the following tips :

- Drink Plenty of water . Atleast 8 Glass of water per day .
- Exercise regularly , preferable in morning before sunrises and Yoga .
- Try to eat more raw fruits and vegetables instead of cooked food .
- Among Cooked food try to avoid the three whites i.e refined white flour , sugar and Rice .
- Junk Food is the choice of majority in fast life style but try to avoid it . It can be done slowly .
-  Instead of eating 2 or 3 Big meals , try to eat 5-6 small meals .
If there is a gap between 2 meals there are more chances of gaining weight .
5-6 Small meals with regular excersice can keep a person fit because we stay full or energy everytime .
