There can also be anxiety attacks which can be as intense as a feeling of dying. These people feel like they might die right on the spot while other people with anxiety disorders cannot leave their homes without feeling nervous.

It is very difficult for people trying to help those with anxiety disorder as they cannot identify any particular threat. Many people with these disorders cannot explain what they fear.The people suffering from anxiety disorder need professional help. They can start by seeking help from their general physician who can then recommend some suitable doctor. Generally drug therapies can help people cope with anxiety disorder, but drug therapy combined with counseling can give better results and help the patients cope with fear.

There is no quick fix for this kind of disorder, however over a period of time one can overcome the anxiety. A lot of people around the world are affected by anxiety disorder depression. The good news is that apart from drugs and counseling there are also alternative ways to treat anxiety. These include looking at the physiological and psychological reasons behind anxiety. Since a large number of people are affected by these disorders, the medical world has done enough research on this condition. There are now new and promising therapies and strategies for overcoming such condition.

In spite of several treatments, it is best to prevent anxiety in the first place. Research has shown that even the foods that we eat can have a serious effect on our nervous system and lead to anxiety. Certain foods can even bring about anxiety attacks, hence certain foods need to be cut and certain foods need to be added to cut down the stress and anxiety. Foods like wheat, garlic, fish, brewers yeast etc can help reduce anxiety. Acid forming foods like protein, dairy products, sugar and processed foods promote anxiety. One should avoid alcohol and caffeine and it is best to drink eight glasses of water to keep yourself hydrated.

One can even do moderate exercise, it has been shown that exercise reduces anxiety. Meditation also helps in taking care of anxiety. Studies show that certain types of meditation can have a positive effect in relieving anxiety.

Though there is no quick fix for anxiety disorders, most types of anxiety disorders are still very treatable and there are many things you can do to help your own situation. Studies show that there could be a correlation between certain foods and anxiety and depression. Watching what you eat and drink will help you prevent them. Eating a well balanced diet and getting all the nutrients and minerals you need makes your body and emotions more stable.

    Well after reading your article, I was not aware of if anyone could be suffering from anxiety disorder. I mean these days stress level are very high. Every body has some level of problems that suppresses their mind to think anything freely. I am also having similar problem, not so serious as your article is saying. I been trying to do some exercise, yoga which definitely helps in bringing about positive consciousness.
