Acne is a problem which is a cause of heartache for many teenagers. Firstly it is important to know why Acne is caused. There are various reasons why acne is caused; due to impurity in the body, hormonal imbalance and also personal hygiene.
What does acne mean? Well boil lumps, pimples, blackheads can be classified as Acne and this is something which is more common in men than women, especially during puberty. Acne is generally on the cheeks, nose and the forehead and in extreme cases it could spread to the chest, arms and the back.
If one follows a few things then Acne can be avoided. It is important to maintain proper facial hygiene. Wash the face at least thrice a day and more particularly after returning home from outside. It is best to use lemon soap for washing. The most important thing is to avoid oily and spicy foods as these can aggravate the acne and it is best to eat green leafy vegetables, salad vegetables and fruits as these have good water content in them. Of course if the acne is due to hormonal imbalance, very less can be done to keep it at bay.
